Altered by the Spirit
Devotions for Lent 2024
As your Lenten journey with the Holy Spirit begins, you are invited to set aside 10-20 minutes each day. This can be in the morning, over lunch, in the evening, or whatever time makes sense in the rhythm of your week.
Each day offers a different way to interact with the theme for the week.
Sundays - Reflection
Mondays and Wednesdays – Creative Expression
Tuesdays and Thursdays – Prayer
Fridays – Sacred Space
Saturdays – Sabbath Rest
There is an initial devotion for Ash Wednesday, then a pause until Sunday, February 18. Then a page for each day during Lent.
Consider using the time before Ash Wednesday or between Ash Wednesday and February 18 as time to read the introduction as a way to prepare yourself for this experience.
There is no right or wrong way to approach this experience. If you are starting after February 18, great. Just choose a place to start and be open to how the Holy Spirit moves in your life. As the introduction says, “it is about showing up in the present moment with curiosity, kindness, and openness as you encounter God’s wisdom along the way.”
Blessings to you as you are altered by the Spirit.
