Youth Ministries for Christians in Action are coordinated by a partnership of local leaders and a shared Director of Children, Youth and Family Ministries. Middle and High School youth are invited to guide how this ministry inspires faith in Jesus Christ.

On behalf of all 8 congregations representing approximately 220-240 youth, the Director of Children, Youth and Family Ministries:

Coordinates communication and registrations for all youth eligible and wishing to attend

• the Synod CastAway retreat usually held in September
• the ELCA Youth Gathering in July 2024
• group events for middle school youth with each congregation serving as a host location once during the school year

Plans adult leader training and coordination of youth preparation on a monthly basis September 2023 – July 2024 and follow up in August 2024 for participants in the ELCA Youth Gathering     

Serves as resource and ensures that all congregations are making progress toward their financial goals for youth wishing to attend CastAway and the ELCA Youth Gathering
 
For Atonement Lutheran

• plans monthly events that engage children birth through 5th grades and their families
• plans monthly events with middle and high school youth

For Trinity Lutheran

• plans monthly events with high school youth
